    This brand-new fried-chicken and gourmet-burger joint took over the former Hi Chai unit in January and has been drawing queues for its buttermilk tenders and secret “Flamin’ Buffalo” sauce ever since.   • Grim’s Dyke Hotel Gardens, Old Redding – Wander 40 acres of formal terraces and wild woodland once owned by Pirates of Penzance librettist W. S. Gilbert. The grounds are free to explore daily, and the Garden Terrace serves cream teas with sweeping views over the Weald. Visitor details
