“Now & Then” digital exhibition opens at Headstone Manor – Archive photos are paired with new shots to show how Harrow has evolved since the 1960s. Touch-screens let you swipe between past and present, making history feel alive. Plan your visit
Concerts in the Park kick-off – Free Sunday lakeside gigs return to Pinner Memorial Park with the vibrant Harrow Steel band on 27 July at 2.30 pm. Bring a picnic blanket and soak up steel-pan rhythms in the sunshine. Full line-up
Hero Academy at St George’s – Little superheroes can train on 30 July, meeting caped crusaders and conquering an obstacle course between 11 am and 3 pm. Every participant earns an official certificate to take home. Free tickets

Harrow Heritage Walks – On 26 July, knowledgeable guides lead a two-hour ramble from Harrow Arts Centre, uncovering blue plaques, film locations and ghost stories. Cameras – and comfy shoes – encouraged. Book here

Banga Sanskriti Sammelan 2025 – 26 July, 1.30 pm, Elliott Hall
A festival of Bengali music, dance and street food that brings colourful cultural flair to Harrow. Expect soulful vocals, dhol drumming and a pop-up market. TicketsOasis LIVE ’25 storms Wembley Stadium (25, 26 & 30 Jul). The Gallagher brothers finally reunite, and the roar is set to roll right over Harrow. Tickets are sold out, but the electric atmosphere around the stadium is half the fun – pack your bucket hat and soak it up outside or at a screening in town.
Ruislip Lido Railway – Reservoir Road, HA4 7TY - Britain’s longest 12-inch gauge line steams through lakeside woodland; climb aboard ‘Mad Bess’ this weekend for breezy 15-minute rides (£5 return). Timetable & fares

Volunteer Wardens – Roxbourne Rough – Harrow Nature Conservation Forum seeks helpers for a four-month stint protecting rare meadow habitats. Training and sturdy gloves are provided, and shifts are flexible. Apply
Concerts in the Park Stewards – The Pinner Association needs friendly volunteers on 27 July and every Sunday in August to marshal crowds and hand out programmes. Perks include free tea & cake. Volunteer
